Fresh coconut

If you buy it fresh,  you should know that you can use all parts of the coconut.

  • First you take the water. This is very rich in minerals.
  • You can then make milk from the pulp and use the rest as flour to make cookies and cakes.
  • And finally, you can use the peel to make fire.

Ginger

This exotic herb is good  for all kinds of health problems, especially for women.

Ingredients

These amounts will give you a  liter of smoothie :

  • 1 coconut
  • 1 beetroot
  • Ginger (a small piece or ground ginger)
  • 1 liter of water

If you don’t have fresh coconut, you can also use a liter of coconut milk instead of coconut water.

Preparation

  • First, follow the steps to make coconut milk. These consist of beating the coconut pulp with 1 liter of boiled water, until you get a white milk.
  • Then add the beetroot and ginger. Cut and peel these first.
  • If you use packaged coconut milk, you can do this right away and you don’t have to heat it first.
  • Strain it and  drink it warm or let it cool.
  • You can sweeten it with stevia or honey if you want. However, remember  that the beetroot already gives it a sweet taste.

Drink the smoothie throughout the day. To get all the benefits, we recommend drinking this  on an empty stomach, without any other foods. You can drink the  entire amount during the day or spread over two days. We don’t recommend it longer than this.
